The dishware and cooking supplies vary depending on your cabin of choice but all 14 of our cabins have heat/air conditioning, satellite TV, refrigerators & microwaves, linens, towels & bedding. * Please see specific amenities listed for each cabin. * Please see specific amenities listed for each cabin.
Equipped with A/C or heat, a mini-fridge, and microwave. There is an outdoor picnic table and elevated grill for use of cooking and a campfire. These cabins do not have bathrooms or running water and are not supplied with any bedding, linens or towels. There are 3 clean shower houses located in close proximity. RV/Tenting: Check in is at 1:00 PM MDT (Our office closes by 6:00PM MDP) We strongly encourage you to plan to arrive prior to closing, however, we can make arrangements if necessary. There is no need to “check out” at the office. We appreciate you staying with us!
Cabins: Check-in is at 3:00pm MDT. Check-out is 10:00am MDT. (there is no need to check-out at the office, simply leave your cabin keys in the cabin upon departure)
Yes, there is a $5.00 dump fee.
Yes, we allow fires in the elevated grated/ contained firepits. NO groundfires are allowed. DO NOT DUMP ASHES ON GROUND. Minimum $250.00 fine for anyone not abiding this rule. We follow guidelines of the US forest service regarding any fire bans.
Cabins: Yes, however it is limited to daily linen exchange and garbage removal.
RV’s/ Tenting: Yes, daily garbage removal from designated garbage areas as well as grate clean up. *Please help keep our campground neat and clean.
Yes, our overflow parking is very limited, please make arrangements with our office staff.
Yes, there is a small parking lot for our pool guests. *All guests must register at the office.

The Keystone Country Store (general store) is located 1.5 miles away in downtown keystone @ 408 1st street.
Krull’s Market (is the nearest full grocery store is located about 12 miles west of the Keystone in Hill City, SD @ 531 Main Street.
No, please bring your favorite coffee grounds as there are coffee makers, filters and mugs supplied in each cabin (aside from the sleeper cabins).
As tent sizes vary, we do not have have a specific number of tents allowed per site, however ONLY 1 vehicle is permitted per tent site. (Typically, 2 tents fit per site).
ALL Electric Tent Sites: Equipped with 30-amp service.
ALL Water/ Electric Back-In Sites: Equipped with 30-amp service.
ALL Water/ Electric/ Satellite Sites: Equipped with both 30- & 50-amp service.
ALL Full Hook Up Sites: Equipped with both 30- & 50-amp service.
Although we are dog friendly throughout the campground, we do not have a designated “dog park”. Kemps Kamp does offer numerous hiking trails throughout the campground, all dog friendly (please keep your pets on a leash & clean up after yourself and your loved ones).

Yes! There is plenty of nearby lakes that offer awesome fishing opportunities! A few of our favorites include Horse Thief Lake, Sylvan Lake, Pactola Lake, and Sheridan Lake.
